Our mission is to generate litigation alpha. Our method is an unrelenting focus on innovation, efficiency, and results.
We understand the only way to consistently outperform any market is to be deliberately different. So unlike most law firms, we do not shy away from new ventures; we pursue them. Simply put, our business model is alpha-driven. We look to win where other lawyers would have lost, and to win bigger where others would have won. We seek out challenging matters that present opportunities for extraordinary, market-beating results. And we achieve extraordinary outcomes through an unrelenting focus on innovation, efficiency, and results.
We are always asking “what’s next”—for our clients, for the marketplace, for the law, and for the firm. We don’t simply adopt the winning methods others have developed. We aggressively improve and replace those methods with newer innovations.
Some examples of our commitment to innovation include:
- adopting the latest software innovations, which maximize our productivity, minimize knowledge diffusion, and allow us to focus on results, not process
- harnessing the power of iterative testing throughout litigation, and not simply before trial, to understand how juries will view our case, its value, and its merits
- creating cutting-edge presentations that bring the latest advances in visual storytelling to the courtroom
Noroozi PC is built on efficiency. Our commitment to efficiency informs every aspect of our work—from our fee structures to the cases we select and ultimately our litigation approach.
By tying our fees to our results, we remove the incentive the billable hour creates toward thoughtless labor. And because trial is often the most efficient way to maximize the value of a case, we only select matters we truly believe in, and build them for trial.
The consequence is a stronger attorney-client relationship based on mutual incentives.
We believe that commercial lawyers, like asset managers, should be judged by their ability to generate alpha, i.e., market-beating results. So we don’t simply aim to win; we look to win where others would fail, and to win bigger than others would have done. Our fees are structured accordingly. We focus on delivering results, not hours.
Our commitment to results drives us to continually innovate, and motivate us to achieve maximum success with maximum efficiency.
Our practice focuses on complex matters that present opportunities for exceptional results. A purely billable hour structure is untethered from results, and thus fails to fully motivate exceptional lawyers to generate exceptional outcomes. Accordingly, outside special circumstances, we do not accept pure hourly engagements. Instead, we craft structures that tie our success to the results we achieve for our clients. Because we share our clients’ risk and reward, we work to generate value, not hours.
